Joetta M. Schneider is a National Board Certified science teacher, adjunct college professor, author, and owner of JS Educational Consulting and Coaching. Her mission is to educate and encourage the well-being of women, children, and families. When her husband heard of this mission, he said, “I don’t see anything about men in there,” to which Joetta replied, “I don’t see myself as a leader of men, but I hope they will benefit from healthy families!” This mission was developed as a result of her work with middle school and high school children over her 28-year (and still counting!) teaching career. It’s also a reflection of her life experience; Joetta believes in her call to be a Titus 2 woman.
One of Joetta’s gifts is seeing the strengths of others, and she is an exhorter of women to enjoy the abundant life God has given them— holding hope for them to live their dreams, large or small. She also believes that raising a family is the first mission field many women are given. Working alongside many young mothers who were trying to supplement their income through creative, entrepreneurial efforts, Joetta became an advocate for women-owned small businesses.
Joetta’s story includes recovery from being overly responsible and a daily struggle to be a healthy enneagram type 8. Her hobbies include reading, writing, blogging, watercolor painting, and spending time friends as well as with her husband Bill, son Derek, grandson Christopher, and dog, Klaus.
